What we offer:
Materials Masters Tuesdays, August 20 - December 17 Ages 6-9 4:15-5:30pm 17 weeks "Art materials serve as lenses: ways in which children imagine, dream and experiences the things in their world." - Judith Burton Being an artist does not mean you need to know how to paint or sculpt in a certain way. Being an artist means that you transform materials in a way that reflects your own ideas and experiences. Each week we will focus on a new material such as paint, clay, pastels, watercolors, wire and more and complete a project using that material in new and exciting ways. We'll learn about visual artists who embrace these materials in their own practice, as well as reflect and share our artwork and process with each other.
