Dot and Line Art Studio, LLC Studio Policies:

Payment is due at registration.  Your registration and payment is an agreement to our terms and policies, and a promise by us that we will provide you with the enriching art making experience that you registered for.

Make-up/Cancellation policies:

  • Private Lessons/Art Pods: We ask that you kindly give us 24 hours notice. We do not give refunds for private lessons but will try our best to schedule a make-up.

  • Group Classes: We understand that kids get sick. Please notify us if you or your child will miss a class. We will try our best to schedule a make-up class if possible but makeups are not guaranteed. No refunds will be given for missed classes.

  • Group Classes and Camps are refundable less a $50 cancellation fee up to 21 days before the class or camp start date. Within 21 days of the start date, we will offer a refund (less $50 fee) only if we are able to fill the spot. Otherwise, classes and camps are non-refundable. We are a small business and it is challenging to fill spots if classes are cancelled last minute. Thank you for your understanding of our policies.

  • Art for Tots, Tween Nights: These classes are non-refundable.

  • Birthday Parties: We ask that all birthday parties are scheduled within at least 2 weeks in advance of your preferred date.  As we will try our best to accommodate with scheduling, we do need more lead time to have everything ready for you.  A deposit of $100 will be required to hold your date, the balance paid in-full one week before the event.   Please see the full descriptions of our parties and pricing breakdown here.  Please note that there are different party theme price points depending on materials needed and what is involved.  We try to keep our rates reasonable.

All students/families must complete and sign a Studio waiver to participate in classes, pods, parties, or groups. Please also see our "Coronavirus/COVID-19 Precautions" for more information.  Our waiver will generate and be sent to you automatically when you register for our classes.  Please sign/return the form to us asap for our files.

Private lessons: Payment for first lessons and classes is required to hold your spot. We are happy to reserve your day and time moving forward thereafter. Payment is then due prior to each lesson and payable via our website, Venmo, or alternative arrangement in writing.  We can also schedule automatic recurring payments for weekly bookings.

Art pods: Payment for first session is due up front and then classes must be paid in full to hold a spot. We will send an invoice to all members prior to starting. Parents may drop their child/children off no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of an art pod. Parents must pick their children up no more than 10 minutes after the end of class unless there is an alternate agreement with the host. All students must be signed in and out of art pods. Children will not be released to someone who is not his/her parent/guardian without prior consent.

For all of our children’s classes, we use non-toxic and developmentally appropriate materials. We cannot guarantee that all materials will wash out, so please dress your child in clothes that are okay to get messy.
