Clay Studio Membership

We're happy to offer a new Adult Clay Studio Membership!

If you're looking for a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment to make your work, our Clay Studio Membership may be a good fit for you!

Our versatile studio offers a local community vibe, basic clay equipment, bi-weekly open studio hours and tech support management to make sure you have what you need.

Your Membership Will Include:

Time

- Up to 6 Open Studio Hours per week (Wednesday 6pm - 9pm /

Sunday 10am - 1pm)

- 3, 6 , or 12 Month Membership Commitment Plans at $125/mo.

Automatically Billed Monthly.

- 1 storage shelf per Member (+$25 each additional shelf up to 3 shelves).

- No Pressure Environment. Take your time and develop your work.

Tools

- 25 Lbs. of Clay to start ($1/Lb thereafter).

Our In-House clay bodies are:

Standard 105-G White (Cone 04)

Standard 104-G Red (Cone 06 - 4)

Additional clays TBA.

- We do reconstitute our clays, which can also be purchased at $1/Lb. when available.

- Weekly sign ups for using Shimpo ASPIRE tabletop wheels (must have significant wheel experience).

- Clay Tools and Equipment (slab roller, sink with traps, work boards, hand tools, banding spinners, bags, gloves, brushes, sponges, etc.). If you have specific tools that you like to use, you are welcome to bring them :)

- Unlimited commercial Blick brush-on Low fire UG & OG, Mayco Crystal Clear dipping glaze, and wax resist

(Additional glazes TBA)

- 1 bisque fire and 1 glaze fire per month in our Skutt 1027-3 Electric Kiln

- 1 Mandatory Orientation Class

(Scheduled in groups, after registration)

- Working in a Local Community Vibe.

- 25% Discount on any Group Clay Class Registration

Clay Studio Memberships can be tailored to suit your needs to some degree, but first, please let us know what you're looking for :

Please tell us about your prior or current experience working in clay, and your interest in a Membership with us. If you have a website or portfolio, please include a link or upload files below.

We will review applications on a rolling basis. Membership spots may fill up, and in that case, we will have a waitlist. If your application is accepted and you become a Member, we will provide you with a contract detailing Studio expectations and protocols, then schedule you for your Orientation Class. Once you agree to the contract, we will begin a monthly automatic billing plan for 3, 6, or 12 months, whichever you choose. Your membership fee will be billed on the first of each month.
