What we offer:

In this third class in this series we’ll read the newly released book "Knife Woman: The Life of Louise Bourgeois" by Marie-Laure Bernadac. Knife Woman traces the career of a great artist, her training, and her influences, as it tells the story of an exceptional woman’s life. We’ll discuss her work as a sculptor, printmaker, painter, and fiber artist. We’ll also create our own artwork inspired by her process, including cloth books, plaster sculpture, printmaking, and drawing. Participants are asked to purchase a copy of the book or borrow from the library.
