The Purrrfect Camp I (AM) 9AM - Noon / M- F / June 22 - 26 / Ages 5-10yrs Calling all cat lovers! Does making art give you the zoomies? Are you fans of famous cats from pop culture (Garfield,The Cat in the Hat, Puss in Boots from Shrek 2, Hermione’s sidekick Crookshanks, Warrior Cats’ Firestar or Brambleclaw, Coraline’s feline guide through the Other World, or even adventurous lil’ Milo with her pug pal Otis)? Do you gaze in the mirror and wish you had two pointy ears on the top of your head? Or, purrrrhaps you just love a little afternoon nap in the sun? Well this camp is the purrrfect ball-of-yarn for feline lovers exploring all things kitty and beyond! What we’ll make: - Polymer clay cat themed wearables (jewelry, pins, necklaces, collars and bracelets with kitty name tags) - Wearable cat-themed furry headgear - Kitty Carry-All: a pre-sewn kitty shaped tote to be individually painted and decorated with surface design and strap. - Mixed media cat-self-portrait on canvas - Cat-character puppets inspired by Paul Klee’s work and pop culture kitties.
