What we offer:

Sept Clay Pack : Beer Steins Slab Construction / Surface design / Carving / Glazing 5 Sessions (Sept : 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct 7) Wednesday 6:30pm-8:30pm $225 "The beer stein originated in 14th-century Germany as a hygiene measure during the Bubonic Plague. Strict laws required all drinking vessels to have attached, thumb-operated lids to keep out insects. By the 19th century, these practical, lidded vessels evolved into intricate, hand-painted canvases crafted by master artisans." In September's Clay Class Pack, you'll have the opportunity to design, build, carve, and glaze your own unique large beer stein.... Of course, it can be for beer, N/A beer, or even orange juice, or water :) We're also working in extra time for constructing a carved ceramic lid as well....you know, to keep The Plague out! We anticipate a fun class with wild and wacky stein-designs, bright glazes, and a celebratory bevy just in time for Oktoberfest! All clay, glaze, and firing included. Instructor: Taylor Mezo
