Sculpture for Living Landscape April 8 - May 13 6 Sessions (April 8 - May 16) Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm $250 Instructor: Taylor Mezo This class will focus on design-thinking to engineer and build a unique ceramic sculpture to live in your garden landscape. We will be working with a template that combines three large hand-built forms: 12"x6"x6" cylinder, 6"x4"x4" cone, and 10"x10"x2" wide disc / plate : which can be customized to your design ideas... anywhere from a toad home, bird feeder, bird bath, multi-tiered planter, or decorative fairy home. We will spend four days building, trimming, and carving our greenware, and 2 sessions glazing. Your finished piece will be around 14"x9"x9", making a fun and unique addition to your living garden landscape. This class is a great way for beginners to learn about larger scale hand-building tech with the elastic and architectural properties of clay.
