What we offer:

Image: Romare Bearden "The Block" 1971 If your child thinks paper is better when it's ripped, crinkled, snipped, and glued, they belong in this class! Through experimentation and play, we’ll learn about the diverse stories of artists who explore this creative medium. We’ll construct glowing lanterns inspired by Isamu Noguchi, snip and layer papers to create colorful neighborhood maps and stories like Romare Bearden, and mix and match faces like Ellen Gallagher. We’ll also combine a variety of mediums such as fabrics, photography, printmaking, and drawing to create multi-media works. Taught by Jill Buda and Kate Gugliotta
