Bonjour, Le Camp! II (PM) 1pm - 4pm / M- F / June 15 - 19 / Ages 5-10yrs Bonjour, young travelers! Pack your imaginary suitcases as we head to the "City of Light" for a week of creativity, culture, and cuisine. Our "Bonjour, Le Camp!" series brings the magic of Paris to life through art, French language fun, and delicious culinary adventures. We’ll focus on different themes each day including: Le Musée: We’ll explore famous masterpieces from the Louvre, The Centre Pompidou, and Musée d’Orsay, learn about some of our favorite French artists, including Niki de Saint Phalle, Henri Matisse, and Berthe Morisot. Pâtisserie Day: Put on your chef’s hat! We’ll learn the art of French pastries and crepe-making, experimenting with sweet fillings and learning the French names for all our ingredients. We’ll also create our own French Cafe throughout the week. Arch of Triumph and Tour D’Eiffle Build: A fun collaborative engineering challenge where we’ll use recycled materials to build iconic French landmarks. The "Haute Couture" Studio: Step into the shoes of a Parisian fashion designer! Campers will use croquis templates to sketch original dress and suit designs, selecting real fabric swatches to create outfits for mannequins Petit Parler (Little Talk): No dry grammar lessons here! We learn French through songs, games, and daily "café" roleplay. By Friday, your camper will be saying "S'il vous plaît" and "Merci" like a local.
