Family Workshop Watercolor Painting (Flowers) ages 8 and up with Guardian Saturday Sept 12 3-4:30 pm $20 per participant As the summer wanes, let's celebrate the many flowers still in bloom by capturing their ephemeral beauty in watercolor! In this Family Workshop, join us to learn a few basic techniques of watercolor painting and experiment with painting flowers from a still life. No experience required! Just an openness to go with the flow of watercolor. First, we'll make several small paintings to practice, then we'll try our hand at one larger painting. We will show you how to control the paint, how to mix colors, and how to use different brushes to achieve textural effects.
