What we offer:

(Ages 5-8) In this class, students will explore a variety of painting themes from the whimsical and imaginary to the observational reference, and work with different color worlds as they apply to creating different vibes for a painted subject:still-life, landscape, portraits and more. Students will also have the opportunity to make paintings on a variety of surfaces, including canvas, wood panels and papers, to investigate the expression of painting with different textures. We'll also learn how to make our own paints from plants and natural materials!
