Art Pods
If you are in Pittsburgh, we offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pod group lessons to children ages 4-12. Pods are made up of no less than 4 students and hosted in your backyard or an outdoor location, such as a park. As long as we have availability, we can schedule pods during the school week (after school), on school off-days, and weekends.
How does it work?
Gather a group of friends together and form your own pod.
Please submit your interest below with availability and ages/names of children. We will contact you to confirm and schedule.
All children in the pod should be ages within 3 years of each other. Art pods are 1 hour long. Our lessons are crafted to the individual interests of the students and we supply all of the materials you need. Lessons can be based on drawing (working with pencil, charcoal, oil pastels, etc), painting (learning basic color mixing, brush techniques, working large and small, etc), collage and mixed media, sculpture, and much more but can also be theme-based. We are happy to work with you to create a custom art plan that fits the interests of your children.
Once confirmed, payment is due for the first session. You can then decide if you'd like to proceed with an entire summer booking and payment will be due at that time. Billing can be made in one payment or divided among all parents/guardians in pod. If you have your pod set up please include names and emails of parents/guardians, children and ages in the box below. All participants must agree to our studio and COVID-19 policies and will be provided with waivers to sign and return prior to the first pod session.
You'll need to provide a shaded area if the pod is held in your yard and a table and chairs for all students that are okay to get messy. We will cover the tables with brown paper and provide towels for easy clean-up. We can bring tables and chairs upon inquiry for an additional cost.
